From the point of view of applied researchers doing policy based research in the field of sustainable development, the communication of anthropological research to those from other discipline would be very valuable.

At the moment there is a huge amount of research that is on-going that could benefit from the work that is is being done in many areas of anthropology.

However, these results need to be accessible and easily available. Often practitioners in other disciplines are not aware that this research is out there, or how/where to access high quality research of this kind.

Further to being able to access results and findings, it is equally important for practitioners and applied anthropologists to being able to access guides on anthropological theory and ethnographic tools and methods. Again, versions of these are often being used without adequate knowledge or training.
